Saudi Arabia Ranks First Globally in ITU Digital Readiness Framework 2025

Saudi Arabia ranked first globally in the Digital Readiness Framework 2025 issued by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), scoring 94 out of 100 in the "Very High" category, up from 90 points and fourth place the previous year. Finland and Germany followed in second and third with 93 points each, the United Kingdom fourth with 92, Norway fifth with 91, and France sixth with 90. The framework comprises 117 indicators across nine main pillars, evaluating telecommunications and technology systems, policies, and governance tools.
