Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha emphasized building an inclusive digital future founded on trust, talent, and technology during his address at the General Assembly meeting of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO). He commended Kuwait's DCO presidency for initiatives combating misinformation, promoting trusted cross-border data flows, and launching a responsible AI framework, noting DCO member states represent about 10% of the world's population and contribute nearly USD 3.6 trillion to the global economy, with over two million technology professionals and 16 unicorn companies. He also cited the Kingdom's Nobel Prize for an AI-enabled chemistry breakthrough and the first Arab Muslim woman's participation in an International Space Station mission.
