Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center: Draft Controls for Protecting Infrastructure Project Assets

The draft controls aim to regulate infrastructure project works and their associated assets within the areas supervised by the Center; protect assets; reduce encroachments, damage, and service interruptions associated with such works; and improve prevention throughout the lifecycle of the works to maintain service continuity and the safety of people and property. The draft also aims to organize advance and spatial coordination among the relevant parties and define each party’s responsibilities within its remit; improve the accuracy, integration, and updating of asset data, as-built plans, and geospatial data; regulate incident reporting, response, containment, documentation, and remediation; and strengthen oversight and compliance with legally prescribed requirements and conditions.
