الهيئة السعودية للتخصصات الصحية: إطار أهلية الممارسة المهنية
The regulation of health professions rests upon three principal purposes, which constitute the basis relied upon when examining any case that may affect the eligibility of professional practice, namely: 1. Protection of Beneficiaries and the Public, and Mitigation of Harm: by addressing cases that may compromise the safety of practice or reveal a material professional risk. 2. Enhancement of Professional Standards: by establishing requirements of competence, professional conduct, and adherence to the scope of practice. 3. Preservation of Public Trust in the Profession: by ensuring that a practitioner’s continuation in practice remains consistent with the requirements of trust placed in the health professions.
