Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture: Updated Executive Regulation for Protecting Water Environments from Pollution

The regulation aims to align with Cabinet Resolution No. (406) dated 14/5/1445 AH, which approved the draft regulation for the General Authority for the Protection of Coral Reefs and Turtles in the Red Sea, by adding the phrase (the General Authority for the Protection of Coral Reefs and Turtles in the Red Sea) to the definition of the competent authority mentioned in the Environmental Law. This is in implementation of the Royal Decree No. 32043 dated 5/05/1444 AH, which calls for reviewing laws, regulations, and decisions related to violations, penalties, fines, assessment and collection mechanisms, objections, and proposing necessary amendments.
