The project aims to establish a unified regulatory framework for service providers at airports by regulating aircraft maintenance services as activities subject to economic licensing, complementing the existing technical frameworks. It also emphasizes that obtaining an economic license does not exempt the service provider from fulfilling the technical requirements necessary to be permitted to conduct the activity. This contributes to unifying the regulatory provisions under this regulation applicable to airport service providers, enhancing economic oversight, improving the efficiency and quality of services provided to airport users, and supporting the growth of the civil aviation sector.
