The Insurance Authority announced the final licensing of "Howden Reinsurance Brokers," one of the companies of Howden Broking Group Limited, to operate in the "reinsurance brokerage" activity in the Saudi insurance sector, as a direct foreign investment. The Authority stated the licensing supports foreign investment in the sector, competitiveness, transfer of expertise, diversification of the investor base, and the coordination of reinsurance arrangements between insurance and reinsurance companies.
