The Insurance Authority ordered the suspension of Al-Muttahidah Cooperative Insurance Company from issuing or renewing compulsory insurance policies (health, motor, and domestic labor contract insurance) effective 27/10/2025, citing violations of supervisory and regulatory instructions. The action was taken under Article 19 of the Cooperative Insurance Companies Control Law issued by Royal Decree No. (M/32) dated 02/06/1424 AH, as amended. The suspension does not relieve the company of its obligations under existing policies or resulting claims, and the Authority says the measure supports insurance sector stability and protects the rights of policyholders and beneficiaries.
