Agreement Between the Saudi Red Sea Authority and the Insurance Authority Results in the Launch of the First National Insurance Product for Coastal Tourism Activities in the Kingdom

اتفاقية بين الهيئة السعودية للبحر الأحمر وهيئة التأمين تثمر عن أول منتج وطني للتأمين على الأنشطة السياحية الساحلية في المملكة

The Saudi Red Sea Authority and the Insurance Authority signed a cooperation agreement resulting in the launch of the first national insurance product covering coastal tourism activities in the Kingdom, offered through local insurance companies without need for external parties. The agreement was signed by Red Sea Authority CEO Mohammed Al Naser and Insurance Authority CEO Naji Al-Faisal Al-Tamimi. The product covers activities including sailing, rowing, water skiing, diving, boating, and surfing. The Insurance Authority was established by Council of Ministers Resolution No. 85 on 15 August 2023.
