During His Participation in the World Economic Forum (Davos) Insurance Authority CEO Highlights Investment Opportunities at the Saudi Insurance Market

Insurance Authority CEO Eng. Naji Al-Faisal Al-Tamimi highlighted developments in the Saudi insurance sector and opportunities for global investment and insurance partners during Saudi Arabia's participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, held from 19 to 22 January 2026. He noted expectations that the market size would double to more than SAR 140 billion by 2030, insurance penetration of non-oil GDP would double to 3.6%, and risk-based capital would increase to SAR 50 billion. On 23 January, alongside Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid Al-Falih, the Authority held a roundtable in Zurich attended by leaders of more than 30 global and local companies, and Al-Tamimi also joined a meeting with the Lord Mayor of the City of London, Susan Langley.
