Under the sponsorship of the Insurance Authority, Najm for Insurance Services unveiled new criteria and indicators for detecting insurance fraud in traffic accidents, presented at a workshop held in Riyadh in cooperation with the General Traffic Department. The upgrade to seven key indicators—covering factors such as accident time, driver, accident circumstances, documentation, damage discrepancies, prior damage, and scene evidence—resulted from discussions held across three workshops in Khobar, Jeddah, and Riyadh during 2024. The Insurance Authority's delegation was led by Ahmed Al-Qusayyir, Executive Director of Supervision, who affirmed the Authority's commitment to supporting fraud-free insurance practices, while Najm CEO Mohammed Yousef Al-Shehri expressed appreciation for the Authority's support. Najm is a closed Saudi joint-stock company founded in 2007 (1428H), with Saudis comprising 98% of its workforce across more than 40 cities and governorates.
