In Its First Meeting with CEOs, the Insurance Authority Emphasizes the Need to Unify Efforts and Work as Partners to Build and Develop the Insurance Sector

The Insurance Authority held its first meeting with insurance company CEOs on Sunday, 19 Jumada Al-Awwal 1445 AH corresponding to 3 December 2023, attended by Authority Board Chairman Abdulaziz bin Hassan Al-Boug and CEO Naji Al-Faisal Al-Tamimi. Officials emphasized the need to unify efforts with insurance companies as partners to build and develop the sector, stating the Authority would work on regulation, growth, competitiveness, and a national insurance strategy, and would review and develop insurance-related laws and regulations. The Authority was established under Council of Ministers Resolution No. 85 dated 28/1/1445 AH to regulate, supervise, and oversee the insurance sector in Saudi Arabia.
