The Insurance Authority has launched a public consultation on the regulatory framework for the "Insurance Lab" project — a legislative sandbox environment designed to promote innovation in the insurance sector by providing a flexible regulatory environment that encourages companies to develop innovative business models. The project aligns with Saudi Arabia's strategy to become a global fintech hub and supports Vision 2030 targets focused on developing vital sectors. Stakeholders are invited to submit their views and suggestions through the Istitlaa platform.
