The Insurance Authority announced the final licensing of Al-Watheeqah Al-Massiya Company ("Shaheen platform") to practice electronic insurance brokerage activity. The Authority stated the step supports its role in regulating and enabling the insurance sector and encouraging innovation in insurance services, including automating processes, improving customer experience, and easing comparison of price quotes and coverage and policy issuance. The Authority advised verifying licensed companies via its website, WWW.IA.GOV.SA.
