Insurance Authority Announces Its Selection of “Tawuniya” As the Leader of the Insurance Pool for the “Inherent Defects Insurance” Product

The Insurance Authority announced the transfer of leadership of the insurance pool for the "Inherent Defects Insurance" product from Malath Cooperative Insurance Company to Tawuniya Insurance Company for a three-year term starting 24 June 2025, with 17 insurance companies participating in the pool. This insurance is mandatory for residential and commercial buildings and is required to obtain building permits, aiming to protect owners and end-beneficiaries against hidden structural defects that may appear after project completion.
