"Media Regulation" signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Human Resources to empower workers in the media sector

The General Authority for Media Regulation, in partnership with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and with support from the Ministry of Media, signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at introducing modern work patterns and empowering workers and beneficiaries in the media sector. The memorandum focuses on activating modern work patterns, including freelance work through issuing a "freelance" document for media professions, and flexible work enabling employers to contract talent part-time via platforms launched by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. The initiative also aims to raise awareness of related rights and obligations, such as social insurance registration, health insurance, and opening a commercial bank account.
