Amendment of the Press Establishments Regulation

The Council of Ministers approved amendments to the Press Establishments Regulation, originally issued by Royal Decree No. (M/20) dated 8/5/1422 AH. The amendments replace references to the "Ministry" (Ministry of Media) with the "Authority" (General Commission for Audiovisual Media) and its board, and replace the "Minister" with the "Council" (the Authority's board of directors), including specific wording changes in Articles Ten, Twelve, Thirteen, and Fourteen, with the terms "Authority" and "Council" substituted for "Ministry" and "Minister" throughout except as otherwise specified.
