Minister of Media Delivers the Fourth Cinema Operating License to Lux Entertainment Company

The Minister of Media, Chairman of the Board of the General Commission for Audiovisual Media, Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad, delivered the fourth cinema operating license to Lux Entertainment Company, in alliance with Alhokair Group for Tourism and Development, Cinepolis International, and Al-Tayer Group. These alliances aim to establish 300 screens across multiple locations in 15 cities and governorates within five years. The Commission's board had approved on 11 December 2017 the issuance of licenses for those wishing to open cinemas to support the film sector.
