The Board of the General Authority for Audiovisual Media, chaired by Acting Minister of Media Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, thanked Israa Aseeri upon the conclusion of her tenure as the Authority's CEO for her contribution to organizing its sectors and preparing future plans. The Board issued a decision appointing Dr. Abdullatif bin Mohammed Al-Abdullatif as CEO; he holds a PhD in computer science from Heriot-Watt University, a master's from the University of Edinburgh, and a bachelor's from King Saud University, and previously led the National Digital Transformation Strategy team and served as Deputy Minister of Education for Planning and Development.
