The Chief Executive Officer Participates in the Sessions of the Business Support Council

Dr. Abdullatif bin Mohammed Al-Abdullatif, CEO of the General Authority for Media Regulation, said at a meeting of the Business Support Council, held as part of E-Commerce Week activities, that the Authority seeks to build a sustainable media industry that strengthens the Kingdom's soft power globally. He said the Authority's main goal is to increase the media sector's contribution to GDP by localizing the media industry across the value chain, with a focus on supporting small and medium media enterprises and fostering an investment-friendly regulatory environment that limits market leakage. His participation came at the invitation of the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises ("Monsha'at"), which organizes business weeks through business support centers.
