The Authority Holds a Workshop on "Media Scholarship – A Promising Pathway"

The General Authority for Media Regulation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Media and with representatives of the Ministry of Education in attendance, held a workshop titled "Media Scholarship – A Promising Pathway," attended by leading private-sector media companies and representatives from more than 35 private-sector entities, to activate the dedicated scholarship program for the media sector. The workshop implements a cooperation memorandum signed between the Ministries of Media and Education to launch the "Media Scholarship" initiative, aimed at training national talent in major media institutions and global universities. It covered mechanisms for identifying training and employment needs via "needs card," "program design," and "launch plan" templates, and introduced the "Waed" pathway and its participation requirements.
