The CEO of the General Commission for Audiovisual Media Discusses Areas of Media Cooperation with the American Embassy

The CEO of the General Commission for Audiovisual Media, Israa Asiri, received a delegation from the Public Affairs Office of the US Embassy, led by embassy public affairs counselor Melissa Kluge Trip, to discuss areas of media cooperation, including partnerships between the Authority and American media institutions to launch training programs for Saudi media professionals. The meeting was also attended by the Authority's director of international affairs, Mohammed Al-Tamimi, and embassy staff. The Authority noted its most recent sponsored program, "Strategic Response: Shaping Images and Identity in Crisis Contexts," launched with the Saudi Journalists Association and Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School, training 25 media professionals, preceded by a program with Google training 100 people from press institutions in digital marketing and content skills.
