The Authority Receives Applications for Hajj Season Permits 1445 AH

The General Authority for Media Regulation announced it has begun receiving applications for media permits to cover the Hajj season, via the Elaam platform (elaam.gamr.gov.sa). It offers four permit types: local media delegation permits, international media delegation permits, permits for temporary radio/TV studios, and permits for satellite uplink vehicles. The Authority noted that a no-objection certificate is required for filming permits if filming is to take place in the holy sites, and that practicing any media work during Hajj without the required permit constitutes a clear violation of applicable regulations and exposes the violator to legal accountability.
