The University of Melbourne in Australia awarded the Gary Nairn Leadership Medal to Dr. Eng. Mohammed bin Yahya Al-Sayel, President of the General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information, making him the first recipient of the award in recognition of his national efforts to advance the Kingdom's survey and geospatial information sector and his regional and global leadership contributions in the field. The award was presented during the Global Geospatial Leadership and Sustainability Forum held in Melbourne, Australia.
