The Kingdom Leads Regionally and Achieves 9th Place Globally and Sixth among G20 in the Geospatial Field

The General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GEOSA) announced that the Kingdom advanced from 32nd place in 2022 to 9th place globally, 1st regionally in the Middle East and Arab world, and 6th among G20 countries in the 2025 Geospatial Knowledge Infrastructure Readiness Index (GKI), developed by Geospatial World with support from the UN Statistics Division. The announcement was made during the first day of the Geospatial World Forum 2025 held in Madrid, Spain, from 22 to 25 April. The Kingdom ranked 6th globally in the policy pillar, 7th in infrastructure, and 8th in the geospatial industry pillar.
