The General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GEOSA) won the Stevie Gold Award in the Innovation in Professional Skills Development category for its 'Geospatial Virtual Reality Training Program' initiative, announced at the Stevie Awards ceremony in Lisbon, Portugal, as part of the 22nd International Business Awards, which saw participation from over 3,800 projects from 78 countries. The initiative offers an interactive geospatial training environment enabling trainees to access training programs remotely at any time using VR headsets and specialized controllers.
