The General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information participated as a strategic partner in the Esri Middle East and North Africa Conference 2026, held in Riyadh on 20–21 January, reinforcing its role as the national reference body for the geospatial sector. The Authority's President, Dr. Eng. Mohammed bin Yahya Al Sayel, delivered a keynote address highlighting the importance of geospatial information as a pillar of data-driven decision-making and Saudi Vision 2030's digital transformation initiatives. The Authority also took part in a dialogue session on geospatial education, presented an exhibition pavilion showcasing its initiatives, licensing services, and national infrastructure, and noted that the conference's first edition hosted participants from more than 32 countries, over 18 pavilions, more than 20 workshops, and 25 speakers.
