"Geospatial" Sponsors and Participates in the Annual Conference of the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG 2026) in South Africa

The General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (Geospatial) represented the Kingdom as a diamond sponsor at the International Federation of Surveyors' annual conference (FIG 2026), held in Cape Town, South Africa from 24 to 29 May 2026. Its participation included scientific papers presented by engineers Naif Al-Juhani, Saad Al-Qarni, Ghazi Al-Qahtani, and Saad Al-Qahtani, and a dedicated exhibition booth showcasing the Kingdom's national geospatial infrastructure, governance, standards, the National Geospatial Platform, and "GeoHub Saudi." The conference drew more than 1,500 specialists from 120 countries over four days, including over 70 scientific sessions and several international partnership agreements and memoranda of understanding.
