GEOSA Receives the President of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)

GEOSA Vice President Eng. Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Wesaidi received a high-level delegation from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), led by RICS President-Elect Nick Maclean, to discuss cooperation on building and developing national geospatial capabilities. The cooperation targets initiatives to build professional standards for practitioners in the survey, geospatial information, and photography sector, including registration, classification, verification, and professional accreditation, as well as training pathways through the National Geospatial Academy. RICS was described as a global professional organization with nearly 157 years of experience in setting standards and providing international accreditation for surveyors.
