GEOSA and King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language Sign a Memorandum of Cooperation

الجيومكانية ومجمع الملك سلمان العالمي للُّغة العربيَّة يوقعان مذكرة تعاون

The General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GEOSA) and the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language signed a memorandum of cooperation to jointly develop a comprehensive, indexed dictionary of geographic names covering all places in the Kingdom. Dr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Washmi represented the Academy and Dr. Eng. Mohammed bin Yahya Al-Sayel, President of GEOSA, represented the Authority; the two parties said the partnership aims to build reference databases and support the use of artificial intelligence in processing geographic names.
