The General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information and the Presidency of Religious Affairs Sign a Memorandum of Cooperation in Geospatial Fields

The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque and the General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information signed a memorandum of cooperation to enhance use of geospatial data, information, and technologies in projects of shared interest, support institutional integration, and improve planning and government spending efficiency. The Presidency was represented by its President Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, and GEOSA by its President Dr. Eng. Mohammed bin Yahya Al Sayel. Cooperation areas include adopting the Authority's maps and geospatial data, developing joint initiatives and atlases/platforms/digital applications, and forming a joint working team to implement the cooperation and follow up on progress.
