Saudi Arabia, represented by the General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GEOSA), chaired the thirteenth meeting of the Arab Committee of United Nations Experts on the Management of Geospatial Information, held in Tunisia on 3-4 February 2026. The meeting, attended by representatives of Arab states and regional/international organizations, covered the committee's annual report, UN contributions to geospatial information, and the work of the geodetic framework, integrated geospatial framework, and geospatial governance groups. Saudi Arabia presented its national experience in measuring geospatial maturity, while Tunisia and Iraq presented their own national experiences and cooperation plans.
