GEOSA Affirms the Kingdom's Leadership in Marine Hydrographic Survey

The General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GEOSA) organized World Hydrographic Day 2026 under the theme "Transforming Marine Data Sharing Mechanisms," with participation from government, academic, research, and specialized company representatives. GEOSA's Vice President, Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Wusaidi, highlighted the importance of developing marine data-sharing mechanisms per approved frameworks and standards, and the event discussed application of the S-100 marine data model in the Kingdom, along with topics such as autonomous marine vehicle regulation and remote sensing applications for coastal environments.
