GEOSA Receives the 2025 Esri President's Award from the Environmental Systems Research Institute (Esri Global)

The General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GEOSA) received the 2025 Esri President's Award from the Environmental Systems Research Institute (Esri Global), an annual award for agencies leading in adopting geospatial technologies and smart solutions. The announcement came during the opening ceremony of the Esri User Conference, held July 14–18, 2025 in San Diego, USA, in recognition of GEOSA's experience building the Saudi Geo-Hub, a central hub for geospatial data and tools supporting smart decision-making. GEOSA is the first organization from outside the United States to receive this award; the US Agency for International Development received it for 2024. Under its regulation, GEOSA organizes and oversees the survey, geospatial information, and imaging sector in the Kingdom.
