The National Committee for Geographical Names Holds Its Eighteenth Meeting Chaired by the President of the General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information

The National Committee for Geographical Names held its eighteenth meeting chaired by GEOSA President Dr. Eng. Mohammed bin Yahya Al Sayel, reviewing the list of joint government committees for 1447 AH and the Geographical Names Portal as a national reference for unifying data sources. The Committee also discussed requests to change and approve geographical names submitted from the Kingdom's regions, and the mechanism for applying the unified Arabic romanization system for writing geographical names in Latin letters.
