Civil Defense during Hajj 1448 AH.. The Safety Shield and Necklace of Reassurance on the Paths of the Guests of the Most Merciful

The General Directorate of Civil Defense has announced its early preparations to serve Hajj pilgrims during the 1448 AH / 2027 season, building on the efforts deployed in the current season. Civil Defense teams covered all areas of the Holy Sites — including Mina, Arafat, Muzdalifah, the Jamarat, and the Two Holy Mosques — alongside accommodation centers, pedestrian walkways, camps, and departure terminals by land, air, and sea. Thousands of inspection visits were conducted to pilgrims' accommodation facilities before their arrival to verify safety compliance, with violations referred under Saudi regulations, while Civil Defense volunteers supported field personnel in guidance, first aid, and proactive awareness across Makkah, Madinah, border crossings, and surrounding regions.
