Civil Defense Affirms the Necessity of Availability of Safety Means in Homes

The General Directorate of Civil Defense affirmed the necessity of having safety means available in homes to protect lives and property and strengthen prevention against accidents and fires. It highlighted key home safety tools including a fire detector, fire blanket, fire extinguisher, and gas detector, which help in responding quickly to emergencies and limiting fire spread. It urged the public to follow its published safety guidelines and to call 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 998 in the rest of the Kingdom, for emergency assistance.
