GASTAT honors winning teams in the Data Innovation Hackathon

GASTAT President Fahad Aldossari honored the winning teams of the Data Innovation Hackathon, held from 15 February to 15 April 2026 as part of the "Road to Riyadh" events ahead of the Sixth United Nations World Data Forum in November 2026, at a ceremony at GASTAT's Riyadh headquarters. Partners included the Saudi Data and AI Authority, the Saudi Society for Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems, the Professional Association for Statisticians and Data Scientists, and the Saudi Association for Statistical Sciences. Of 132 competing teams across two tracks, 16 reached the final and six teams won, with total prizes of SAR 75,000. The winning teams were Hoarders, Athr, Ain, GigScope, Spondylus, and Optimizers.
