GASTAT, in collaboration with the UN Statistics Division, PARIS21, and Open Data Watch, organized a virtual panel discussion on "Commit to Data" as part of the Road to Riyadh events preparing for the 6th UN World Data Forum (UNWDF), to be hosted in Saudi Arabia in November 2026. GASTAT President Fahad Aldossari said committing to data is key to strengthening statistical governance and supporting decision-making. The panel included representatives from the UN Statistics Division, PARIS21, Open Data Watch, the International Women's Development Agency, the Ghana Statistical Service, the UN African Centre for Statistics, and SESRIC. GASTAT also separately announced registration for the 6th UNWDF, scheduled in Riyadh from 9 to 12 November 2026, alongside the Second Saudi Statistics Forum.
