Minister of Economy and Planning inaugurates virtual workshop as part of Road to Riyadh events

Minister of Economy and Planning and GASTAT Board Chairman Faisal Alibrahim inaugurated a virtual workshop titled 'Statistical Practices,' organized by GASTAT as part of Road to Riyadh events ahead of Saudi Arabia's hosting of the 6th UN World Data Forum (UNWDF) in November 2026. GASTAT President Fahad Aldossari presented on the Authority's transformation, noting its statistical products grew from around 50 before transformation to over 80, compliance with statistical publication rose to 94%, and website users reached 8.5 million in 2025. He also noted GASTAT's Digital Transformation Measurement Index rose to 86% in 2025.
