Heads of statistical offices of GCC countries convene for an extraordinary coordination meeting

The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) participated in an extraordinary coordination meeting of the heads of national statistical offices of the GCC countries, held virtually with the Director General of the GCC Statistical Centre. The meeting aimed to enhance statistical coordination and integration among GCC countries to support decision-makers with accurate data. GASTAT President Fahad Aldossari emphasized efforts to develop the statistical ecosystem, and discussions covered economic indicators such as price indices, industrial production, foreign trade, and GDP.
