GASTAT organizes a panel discussion on the role of statistical data in supporting the healthcare sector

GASTAT organized a panel discussion titled 'Pulse of Numbers: Statistical Data in the Service of Health' on 7 April 2026, as part of 'Road to Riyadh' events ahead of Saudi Arabia's hosting of the 6th UN World Data Forum (UNWDF) in Riyadh next November. The session addressed the role of advanced technologies in healthcare, strengthening health indicator measurement, and improving health data access and governance, featuring GASTAT and Ministry of Health officials including Dr. Fatimah Al Waef and Dr. Arwa Mohammed Alameen. Separately, GASTAT, with the United Nations, announced registration opening for the 6th UNWDF 2026, to be held in Riyadh from 9 to 12 November 2026, alongside the Second Saudi Statistics Forum.
