GASTAT holds a workshop on developing the Consumer Price Index (CPI)

The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT), in collaboration with the United Nations, opened registration for the 6th UN World Data Forum (UNWDF 2026), scheduled to take place in Riyadh from 9 to 12 November 2026, alongside the Second Saudi Statistics Forum, part of the Road to Riyadh events. Separately, GASTAT announced the launch of the third Innovation Cycle tracks under its Innovative Projects Program, comprising three tracks: developing an AI-based agent to detect statistical anomalies and patterns, a methodology for estimating agricultural production at the governorate level using satellite and survey data, and a machine learning model to monitor the quality of field data collection.
