GASTAT organizes a panel discussion on Data Innovation to Advance Official Statistics

The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) organized a panel discussion titled "Data Innovation to Advance Official Statistics" as part of the Road to Riyadh events, ahead of Saudi Arabia hosting the 6th UN World Data Forum 2026 in Riyadh next November. The panel, moderated by Dr. Lilac Alsafadi, brought together regional and international experts to discuss best practices for enhancing Arab statistical agencies' data innovation capabilities and improving statistical operations and indicators. Separately, GASTAT, in collaboration with the UN, announced the opening of registration for the 6th UNWDF 2026, scheduled for 9-12 November 2026 in Riyadh, alongside the Second Saudi Statistics Forum.
