GASTAT Launches the Tracks of the Third Innovation Cycle within the Innovative Projects Program

The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) launched the tracks of its Third Innovation Cycle under the Innovative Projects Program, through its Innovation Lab, aimed at engaging researchers and specialists in developing innovative statistical solutions. The cycle comprises three tracks: an AI-based intelligent agent to automatically detect data anomalies and analyze patterns among statistical indicators; a methodology using satellite and agricultural survey data to estimate agricultural production at the governorate level; and a machine-learning model to monitor and evaluate the quality of field data collection through early-warning alerts. GASTAT stated the tracks are available via its statistical innovation portal at stats.gov.sa/innovation-platform.
