GASTAT organizes a workshop on statistical data and its role in supporting national development

The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) organized a virtual panel discussion on 23 December titled "Saudi statistical data ... a pivotal role in supporting national development," as part of its Road to Riyadh events, which are being held in preparation for hosting the Sixth United Nations World Data Forum (UNWDF) in Riyadh from 9 to 12 November 2026. The discussion aimed to highlight GASTAT's experiences and best practices, promote knowledge exchange within the statistical community, and explore the use of advanced technologies in statistical work. GASTAT also announced, in collaboration with the United Nations, the opening of registration for the UNWDF 2026 and the Second Saudi Statistics Forum, with Road to Riyadh events continuing until the Second Saudi Statistical Forum on 8 November ahead of the UNWDF.
