GASTAT organizes a panel discussion titled Data for Sustainable Future

The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) organized a panel discussion titled "Data for Sustainable Future" on Friday, 5 June 2026, as part of the "Road to Riyadh" events preparing for the 6th United Nations World Data Forum (UNWDF) 2026 in Riyadh this coming November, held in conjunction with World Environment Day. The panel addressed environmental data methodologies, strengthening environmental statistics through innovative solutions, using environmental data to advance sustainability initiatives, and fostering partnerships between statistical offices and stakeholders. GASTAT separately announced that registration has opened for the 6th UNWDF, scheduled for 9-12 November 2026 in Riyadh, along with the Second Saudi Statistics Forum, and separately announced the launch of tracks for the third innovation cycle under its Innovative Projects Program via its Innovation Lab.
