President of GASTAT participates in the 14th Meeting of GCC Permanent Committee for Statistical Work

GASTAT President Fahad Aldossari participated in the 14th meeting of the GCC Permanent Committee for Statistical Work, held virtually and organized by the GCC Statistical Center. Participants reviewed preparations for the 6th UN World Data Forum 2026 to be hosted in Riyadh, and the committee reviewed and approved the Strategic Plan for Joint GCC Statistical Work (2026-2030) for submission to the GCC Ministerial Council. The meeting also examined the project to develop the GCC Framework for Statistical Standards and Methodologies, and a working group was established to review priorities, programs, and statistical activities.
