The Kingdom hosts the 13th meeting of the Permanent Committee for Statistical Work

Represented by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT), Saudi Arabia will host the 13th meeting of the Permanent Committee for Statistical Work on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at GASTAT's headquarters in Riyadh, bringing together heads and directors of GCC statistical offices, GCC-STAT, and experts in the field. The meeting aims to strengthen statistical cooperation, harmonize statistical policies, and exchange expertise among national offices. Alongside it, a panel discussion on international statistical standards will be held as part of the "Road to Riyadh" initiative, organized in preparation for hosting the 6th UN World Data Forum in Riyadh from November 9–12, 2026.
