The Saudi-Hellenic Investment and Trade Committee Holds Its Second Meeting Virtually, Chaired by Al-Qasabi

The Saudi-Hellenic Investment and Trade Committee, formed under the Saudi-Hellenic Strategic Partnership Council, held its second virtual meeting on Thursday, 9 July 2026, chaired by Minister of Commerce and General Authority for Foreign Trade Chairman Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi and Greek Development Minister Takis Theodorikakos. The committee, comprising 10 Saudi government bodies led by the Ministry of Commerce, has produced 23 initiatives with 16 Saudi entities across sectors including investment, health, transport and logistics, industry, agriculture, food, economy, foreign trade, customs, SMEs, and standards and metrology. Bilateral trade between Saudi Arabia and Greece rose 76% in 2025 to about $1.7 billion, up from $970 million in 2020, with plastics and aluminum products as top Saudi exports and metal and pharmaceutical products as top Greek imports.
